Welcome to second grade. This year we will Do our Best to model and follow our class rules of BEing respectful, BEing responsible, BEing safe, and BEing brilliant.

Our mornings start  at 8:25 with morning work and meeting that allows us to greet one another in creative and fun ways. Then it's time for literacy and math.  Snack time each morning provides an important break to munch and socialize.

Recess is followed immediately by lunch midday.  

Our afternoon focuses on RtI (Response to Instruction)  when second graders are divided by ability to work on specific math and literacy skills.     Specials provide an enriching break each afternoon and include Library, Computers, Music, Art and Gym.  Dismissal is at 3:00.
